Our Story

Founded in 1986, Micor Developments Inc. has been a key player in land development and home building throughout the Hamilton and Haldimand areas. In the early 1990s, Micor helped to refine the bungalow townhouse concept, introducing the “No More Stairs” campaign to meet the needs of empty nesters seeking one-level living without the high-rise condo option. This innovative approach was especially well-received in Ancaster. Over the years, Micor has expanded into the development of retirement homes, contributing to five large-scale projects and continuing as an owner of the Meadowlands Retirement Residence. Micor is currently in the planning stages on several small, medium, and large-scale residential projects, as well as industrial/employment land.

In 1997, Micor teamed up with longtime builder David Eccles where they formed separate building companies; Springfield Construction and Springfield Homes.
